The importance of working together to rebuild the unique heritage of Texas is emphasized in this book. The vanishing waters of Texas are discussed as well as depleting Pineywoods in East Texas. Landscapes as different as Cross Timbers to marshes are detailed in importance and the heritage of the state of Texas.
