Abstract
The importance of restoring the natural heritage of Texas. The natural heritage is declining and is close to extinction. The importance of working together to rebuild the unique heritage of Texas is emphasized in this book. The vanishing waters of Texas are discussed as well as depleting Pineywoods in East Texas. Landscapes as different as Cross Timbers to marshes are detailed in importance and the heritage of the state of Texas. Awareness and prevention are discussed in order to rebuild the lost heritage of Texas.
