dc.description.abstract	Both 1962 and 1963 were years of relatively low rainfall. Upper Laguna Madre salinities averaged about 9 ppt higher during the first five months of 1963 than for the corresponding period in 1962. During the last seven months of each year salinities followed roughly the same pattern.	en
