Abstract

Both 1962 and 1963 were years of relatively low rainfall. Upper Laguna Madre salinities averaged about 9 ppt higher during the first five months of 1963 than for the corresponding period in 1962. During the last seven months of each year salinities followed roughly the same pattern.
