The report covers the history of the hurricane, post hurricane collection of data, and evaluation of damages. The history of the hurricane includes its origin and path through the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, and south Texas area. The area covered by this report extends along the Gulf coast from Galveston, Texas, to the border between Mexico and the United States and 100 to 150 miles inland.
