Economic impacts of sea level rise.

This paper reports preliminary results of an ongoing investigation of the potential economic impacts of rising sea level. Methods for estimating economic impacts and the value of having improved estimates of potential sea level rise are summarized. Preliminary estimates are reported for the Galveston, Texas study area which indicate that the impacts of sea level rise may be considerable.
