This study investigates the relations between subsidence, drawdown, and some lithologic factors within the upper 600 feet (193 meters) in the Houston-Galveston, Texas, area during five time periods. The considered lithologic factors are the thickness of clay and sand, the clay-sand ratio, the number of clay-sand boundaries and the product of clay-sand ratio and the number of clay-sand boundaries.en_US
