Galveston Bay Project: Statistical summary of water quality conditions in the Galveston Bay system

The Galveston Bay Project (GBP), initiated in 1967 by the Texas Water Quality Board, has as its primary objective the development of a water quality management plan for the Galveston Bay system. The project has had many facets, not the least of which have been the conduct of a massive water quality data collection program and associated development of a computerized data management system. This report covers the statistical analysis of water quality samples in various locations within the bay. These samples were then compared to state standards and environmental limits.
