The Beneficial Use of Dredged Material for Wetland Restoration and Enhancement on Clear Creek

The Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) was contracted by the Galveston Bay Estuary Program in 1997 to facilitate the construction of an emergent wetland on Clear Creek utilizing dredged material. Houston Lighting & Power Company acted as the corporate sponsor on the project by providing partial project funding, conducting engineering surveys, and by performing contract administration duties.
