Mark-recapture experiments with commercial shrimps were conducted in the northern Gulf of Mexico during 1962. Results provided information on movements of subadult and adult brown and white shrimp off Texas and Louisiana, on fishing and natural mortality in a stock of brown shrimp fished off Texas, and on growth as well as mortality in the white shrimp resource supporting a major fishery along the Louisiana coast.en_US
