The acts covered are (1) Texas Water Quality Act, (2) County Solid Waste Control Act, (3) Solid Waste Disposal Act, (4) and the Disposal Well Act. Also, at the back of this booklet is a discussion of the State Matching Grants Program: under section 8 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C.A. Sec 1158), the Federal government can make grants to political subdivisions to assist them in defraying the cost of constructing waste treatment works.en_US
