Texas port facts book.

This report was developed as a background document to help fulfill the requirements of Senate Concurrent Resolution 269 of the 64th Legislature, directing the Texas Coastal and Marine Council to develop a comprehensive assessment of marine commerce in Texas. The information within has been developed from published sources and from solicitations from the public ports. The second goal of the factbook is to serve as a ready reference to planners, researchers, and policy officials in the area of port development and transportation research. As such, the format is specifically designed to be easily updated on a periodic basis.
