dc.description.abstractThis report consists of one data sheet and four maps, 48 cm X 39 cm, with latitude 30 00'N - 29 00'N and longitude 95 45'W - 94 45'W, and one map, 15 cm X 20 cm, with the same latitude and longitude. The first of four maps presents data on water-level changes during 1977-81 and 1980-81 in 550 wells in the Chicot and Evangeline aquifers in the Houston-Galveston, Texas region. The data sheet concerns measured compaction at 12 sites from 1973-81 and includes corrections for error in data prior to December 1982 for well LJ-65-07-909 (Lake Houston site). The fifth map identifies locations of borehole extensometers.en_US
