dc.description.abstractA spill or unintentional release into the environment may give rise to a variety of reporting requirements, generally depending upon what was spilled; the amount spilled; and the time, location, and effects of the spill. This guide has been developed as an aid to fulfilling the requisite federal, state, and local reporting requirements. The report is divided into two major sections; Federal Reporting Requirements, and State Reporting Requirements which covers all 50 states. This guide contains the verbal and written reporting requirements for Oil, Hazardous Substances, Hazardous Wastes, Hazardous Materials, Excess Air Emissions, Wastewater Excursions, Underground Tank Leaks, and SARA Title III.en_US
