Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop some of the information and parameters needed for modeling the Houston Ship Channel for dissolved oxygen. These parameters are needed to verify the oxygen model for periods where dissolved oxygen was present. Also, the oxygen model can determine the allowable loading of treated organic material that can be discharged into the channel and still maintain the dissolved oxygen at acceptable levels.
