dc.description.abstractThe Environmental Quality Program has compiled into broad, general categories the environmentally-oriented research which is in progress or has been published by Texas A&M University researchers. The result is expected to serve a number of purposes. First, the need to identify the amount of environmental research at Texas A&M University and the specific staff interested in this important area of national concern. Second, to provide people on the local, state, and regional level with information on current work and expertise at Texas A&M University in environmental areas. One of the major problems of compilation facing the program was obtaining a complete listing of projects and accurately classifying them. Hopefully omissions from this publication and further refining of classifications will be corrected in future listings.en_US
