dc.description.abstractMortality studies among groups of seed and market oysters (Crassostrea virginica) were conducted in Aransas, San Antonio, Matagorda, and Galveston Bays. In general, death rates were low in winter, increased in spring, dropped in early summer and rose to late summer or early fall peaks.en_US
