dc.description.abstractSpecimens of the digenic trematode Proctoeces maculatus were collected from mussels (Ischadium recurvum, Mytilopsis leucophaeata) and the sheepshead (Archosargus probatocephalus) in Galveston Bay. Physiological descriptions of the parasite were presented. Life stages, hosts and locations within the host were described.en_US
