Abstract
The third and final year of the benthos and plankton study of the Corpus Christi - Aransas Bay area by the University of Texas Marine Science Laboratory has been completed. This report to the Texas Water Development Board, funding agency for the study in conjunction with the City of Corpus Christi, includes data from the third year and analysis of the data for the three year study. Data collected during the study included hydrographic, benthic, phytoplanktonic and zooplanktonic information from thirty sites in the Corpus Christi - Aransas Bay system. Data was collected monthly and has been presented in the first two annual reports, hereafter referred to as Report 1 and Report 2, for the period October 1972, to April 1974. Hydrographic data from May 1974 to May 1975, is included in this report. Biological data is reported for the period May 1974 to March 1975. Data from the present report period, has, as was the first two years' data, been stored in the TWDB's Coastal Data System (CDC), a computer operative storage and retrieval system. The system operates on a Univac 1106 computer system which is located at the TWDB in Austin, Texas.
