Abstract
The freshwater inflow subcommittee has submitted this report on the status of inflow. This subcommittee is part of a larger project headed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA wants to improve the quality of the Gulf for living marine resources while keeping that balanced with the demands of man. The report focuses on quantity, quality, and historical salinity of waters and the availability of data to find these. The state of the streamflow and the regional and federal regulations that affect the streamflow are discussed within the report. Streamflow is discussed in relation to historical and quantitative studies.
