dc.description.abstractAs a part of the proposed widening and deepening of the Houston- Galveston Navigation Channels, Texas, an Interagency Coordination Team (ICT) was formed to help determine the scope of studies necessary to evaluate project impacts. A Contaminant Subcommittee was formed to determine the studies required to evaluate contaminant issues associated with the project. The subcommittee was comprised of representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston; Environmental Protection Agency, Dallas; U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Clear Lake; Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Laporte; and the Texas Water Commission, Houston and Austin.en_US
