dc.description.abstractAn algorithm was developed for finding the optimal management policies for the dynamic operation of a system of mulitpurpose reservoirs, tertiary wastewater treatment plants, wastewater retention basins, and navigation locks and dams. This management procedure is designed to interface with a real-time water quality monitoring system so that operating policies can be adjusted to reflect changing environmental conditions.
