Abstract
The life-styles of >150 of the most common marine invertebrates found along the Texas shoreline are described. Topics discussed include general shore and faunal features, jetties and groins, sandy beaches, organisms washed ashore, bay shore salt marshes and mud flats, oyster reefs, shell habitats, and plankton and nekton.
