dc.description.abstract | The molluscan resources of the Gulf of Mexico are not considered well known. The author discusses the present production of the molluscs of the Gulf of Mexico and possible resources now unused, with some reference even if only by analogy to the Caribbean Sea. The author states that we may expect that use of molluscs as food in this area in the future may exceed anything we have in mind at the present and these increases in useage as food will parallel increases in knowledge of these animals. | en_US |
