dc.description.abstractThe Galveston Bay Plan is described in detail. The focus of this book is to explain in detail the accomplishments of the Plan. The focus is on the final phase of the project which was completed in December, 1974. Summaries of the management plans, tools developed, and alternative corrective measures are discussed. As a result of the Galveston Bay Plan, management actions have been accomplished. This includes the establishment of waste disposal authority for the Gulf coast, regional sewerage plan, waste load allocations, water quality monitoring network, and a highly developed management system.en_US
