Techniques for controlling nonpoint source (NPS) pollution are discussed in this report. These techniques use regulation of various aspects of the land development process to control nonpoint source pollution. Based on the degree of land use regulation, these management options are grouped into four categories: (1) comprehensive measures; (2) site-based measures; (3) voluntary measures, and; (4) public sector measures.en_US
