Local Government Environmental Management System (EMS) Toolkit

The American Public Works Association (APWA) and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), with support from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), hosted a webcast called "Environmental Management Systems: A Powerful Tool to Help Local Government Managers and Public Works Directors Minimize Environmental Liability, Increase Efficiency, and Improve Financial Health". This toolkit includes a Windows Media (audio/video file) recording of that webcast, as well as the individual PowerPoint presentations of each speaker, and a number of publications and Internet links providing more information about EMS.
