Technical report an empirical method of shoaling analysis, based on historical dredging and shoaling records, is presented. Current procedures do not allow for the effect of shoaling over a wide range of depth. The technique described will predict future shoaling for deepened channel conditions resulting from either an increase in authorized channel depth or advance maintenance. The Texas City channel is used to illustrate the technique.en_US
