dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this paper was to bring together all of the species of marine mollusks previously reported from Texas in an attempt to decide which ones were actually members of the Texas fauna. For each species, the name of the reporting author is given, the locality where it is known to occur, and whenever possible, a statement is made as to whether its presence on the Texas coast is likely or doubtful. Photographs of many species are provided.en_US
