National Fish Tissue Data Repository: User Manual - Version 1.0

This manual explains how to access information from the Ocean Data Evaluation System (ODES) database. This chapter provides background information and a summary of what ODES can do. Chapter 2: Getting Started explains some of the general principles for navigating through the ODES menus. Chapters 3 through 6 provide detailed tutorials that will help you understand how to use all of the ODES features. The final chapter lists relevant supplemental documentation and whom you can contact to find additional information. Because this manual was created for the National Fish Tissue Data Repository (NFTDR), the examples are devoted to bioaccumulation data, although procedures for accessing the other types of data are similar. For more information about submitting or using data other than bioaccumulation, please contact the ODES technical support staff.
