Abstract
The proposed Bayport terminal is needed in order to accommodate the growing needs of customers. This addition will provide jobs and long-term economic impacts for Harris County. The Houston Ship Channel has fueled local business; a new containerized cargo handling operation is necessary in order to continue this trend.
