Abstract
This report concerns the plastic industry's response to MARPOL ratification (Annex V). It includes the SPI Policy Statement on Marine Debris. The report consists of various advertisements discouraging the use/discard of plastics in the ocean. At the conclusion of the report, two books concerning the problems with plastics are mentioned.
