Abstract

The environmental impact statement (EIS) addresses two proposed Federal actions, lease Sales 139 and 141, that will offer for lease areas on the Gulf of Mexico Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) that may contain economically recoverable oil and gas resources. The proposed lease sales are scheduled to occur in 1992 and include lease blocks in the Central and Western Gulf of Mexico... This draft environmental impact statement addresses the scoping process, proposed actions and alternatives, mitigating measures, analyzed action scenarios, address significant issues, and concluded on the impacts of these lease sales.
