Abstract
American Engineering Associates, Inc. has been retained by the City of Galveston, Texas, to conduct an engineering feasibility study and to develop a preliminary design for a solid waste processing center and elevated solid waste landfill to be located on Galveston Island. The purpose of this interim report is to present a summary of accumu-baseline data and discuss preliminary design concepts for the processing center and landfill.
