Abstract

This is the first cable-stayed bridge with two superstructures, and its total deck area of about 32 800 m2 makes it one of the largest cable-stayed bridges to date. The cable-stayed bridge has a main span of 381 m and a navigational clearance of 53 m. Each of the two beams is 24 m wide and comprises a steel grid from exterior main girders and cross-girders, all built from plate girders, with a concrete roadway slab on top. The twin concrete towers with a double diamond shape rise 130 m above ground. In transverse direction they carry the loads by truss action
