The collection consists of two documents, a Christmas Day Menu and the travel record of the Queens.Item SS Excambion, 1948(1948) Texas A&M University at GalvestonOriginally named the USS Queens, the ship was renamed the Excambion in 1948. It served as a cruise ship from New York City to the Mediterranean. Its last cruise was in 1959. Its last cruise as the training ship for the Texas Maritime Academy was in 1994. From 1994-1996 it was used as a dormitory for the Seaborne Conservation Corps. The anchor of the Texas Clipper currently sits outside the library.
