The models are applicable to homogenous estuaries, highly stratified estuaries, and partially stratified estuaries; the models are applicable to non-idealized estuaries (i.e., flow rates, velocities, depths, channel cross-sections, segment volumes, and diffusion coefficients are not necessarily constant throughout the estuary); and the models are capable of handling numerous waste loadings applied at points throughout the estuary. Model One is used to compute the ultimate waste dispersion pattern and resulting dissolved oxygen profile.estuarieswasteswastewaterwater qualitywater analysisA one-dimensional, steady-state, nonidealized technique for estuarine analysis and its application to the Houston Ship Channel.Book
