To obtain field data necessary for analysis of the hydraulic characteristics of the Pass, and (2) To recommend possible solutions to protect the west abutment of Vacek bridge at San Luis Pass and to reduce or eliminate erosion of the West Galveston Island beach in the vicinity of San Luis Pass.
