Johnson School of Public Affairs affords each of its second-years students an opportunity to conduct research and analysis of contemporary public policy questions working independently but with the guidance of a faculty member. This report on Protecting the Environment in Texas was prepared during the academic year 1972-1973. Professor Gerard A. Rohlich of the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs served as faculty advisor. Preliminary work on the report was begun during the summer of 1972 while I was working as a research associate for the Texas Legislative Council. I prepared several documents upon request of members of the Texas Legislature that form part of the final report.environmental protectionProtecting the environment in TexasBook
