More than 400 people attended the two-day event which was conceived to explore new ideas and update information to further the cause of conservation and protection of the Galveston Bay System. The purpose of the State of the Bay Symposium, III was to analyze the progress of implementation, the next steps to be taken, and the status and trends which impact this vital Texas resource.
