Our Crowded Shores is one of three NOAA State of the Coast CD-ROMs. This CD is an interactive multimedia presentation of various aspects of coastal lands. This CD describes what is defined as the coast, how jobs such as mariners, geologists, and biologist interact with the nation's coasts, gives the national and state overall picture of coasts, describes four coastal systems, such as beach, dune, and barrier islands, estuaries, estuary fringe, and coastal ocean.
