In order to evaluate the behavior of the deltaic marsh systems, the TDWR instituded a program of field measurements and model development in the key marsh systems of the Texas coast. The quality of flow required to inundate the designated marsh area of the Trinity Delta was evaluated utilizing the mathematical model as it had been previously calibrated and verified for the Trinity system.deltasflow measurementwater depthmarsheshabitatnursery groundsmodelsmodelingmarsheswetlandsmathematical modelsTrinity River delta inundation studyBook
