The economic feasibility of different stocking strategies at a proposed 76 ha commercial penaeid shrimp culture operation was evaluated. The stocking strategies consist of monoculture of Penaeus stylirostris at 10 and and 20m sq. repectively and polyculture of Penaeus stylirostris with P. vannamei at two rations (3:1 and 1:3) with total of density of 20/ m sq. The results indicated that only the polyculture of 75% P. vannamei with 25% P. stylirostis is economically profitable.economicsmaricultureshrimp culturePenaeus stylirostrisA preliminary economic feasibility analysis of a proposed commercial penaeid shrimp culture operation.Book
