Relative abundances of species in different areas of the reservoir are related to inundation history and geological substrate. Inundation has locally extirpated some species while other species have flourished. Utilization of shell material for the cultured pearl industry is documented. Ecological, taxonomic, and zoogeographical notes are presented for each species.BIVALVESIMPACTLAKEriversilverTEXASTrinity RiverGeological Substrate and Human Impact As Influences on Bivalves of Lake Lewisville, Trinity River, TexasJournal
