These sites included Sabine Pass, Galveston Island, North Padre Island at Corpus Christi, and South Padre Island at Port Isabel. New genera Tyle pogoniae and Laterocotyle padreinsulae. T. pogoniae was found in 9% of the fish examined, and L. padreinsulae in 27%.
