No significant day vs. night differences were detected in catches of brown shrimp, but catches of white shrimp were significantly (P<0.01) higher during daytime. Observed correlations between catch and tide elevation and temperature were believed to be coincidental.brown shrimpPenaeus aztecuswhite shrimpPenaeus setiferusjuvenilescanalstemporal variationsDiel fluctuations in catches of juvenile brown and white shrimp in a Texas estuarine canal.Article
