Successful projects have been completed by a variety of entities. However, careful planning and consideration of local conditions are essential elements of these projects. To facilitate habitat restoration, GBF and the Galveston Bay Marsh Restoration Task Force have developed a series of guidelines for restoration plantings in the Galveston Bay system. The document summarizes the steps and considerations involved in planning and executing successful restoration projects. Recommendations are made based on current knowledge of ecology and restoration science as they pertain to Galveston Bay.wetlandscreationrestorationhabitat lossGuidelines for restoration plantings in the Galveston Bay systemChapter
