All shrimp were tagged with colored polyethylene streamer tags and released in inshore areas near Port Mansfield, Port Aransas and Port Isabel or in offshore waters near Port Aransas. Numbers of shrimp tagged from May 1978 through July 1980, and the number of shrimp returned by November 1980 are given. Recapture rates are calculated and evaluated. Growth rates and short term movement patterns are also evaluated.taggingPenaeid shrimpgrowthshrimpsmarkingMark-recapture studies of penaeid shrimp in Texas, 1978-1980Book
