The oysters had a reduction in energy due to the parasite. Also, during spore formation, change in the antigenetic properties occurs. A positive correlation was observed between the number of eggs produced and oyster size; the number of eggs increased as oyster size increased. However, large oysters produced fewer eggs per biomass.
