To examine this, concentrations of selected pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs) were determined in oysters sampled five times during one year from three stations at four sites in Galveston Bay. Twenty individual oysters were pooled from each station.
